V1て、 V2て、 ... V3ます/ました

💡 Usage

Used to connect verbs to list actions in chronological order. The tense of the entire sentence is determined by the final verb.

📚 Examples

あさジョギングをして、シャワーをびて、会社かいしゃきます。

Asa jogingu o shite, shawaa o abite, kaisha e ikimasu.

In the morning, I jog, take a shower, and then go to work.

神戸こうべって、映画えいがて、おちゃみました。

Koube e itte, eiga o mite, ocha o nomimashita.

I went to Kobe, watched a movie, and then drank tea.

図書館としょかんって、ほんりて、うちへかえります。

Toshokan e itte, hon o karite, uchi e kaerimasu.

I will go to the library, borrow a book, and go home.

昨日きのう友達ともだちって、いっしょにばんはんべました。

Kinou tomodachi ni atte, issho ni bangohan o tabemashita.

Yesterday I met my friend and we had dinner together.

スーパーでものをして、うちで料理りょうりします。

Suupaa de kaimono o shite, uchi de ryouri shimasu.

I shop at the supermarket and cook at home.
