V-masu (bỏ masu) + かねる💡Usage
Used to express inability or reluctance to do something in a polite/formal way.
📚Examples
その申し出は受け入れかねます。
Sono moushide wa ukeirekanemasu.
I cannot accept that offer.
詳しいことは分かりかねます。
Kuwashii koto wa wakarikanemasu.
I am not sure of the details.
見るに見かねて手伝った。
Miru ni mikanete tetsudatta.
I couldn't stand watching, so I helped.
私には決定しかねます。
Watashi ni wa kettei shikanemasu.
I differ to make a decision.
返答しかねます。
Hentou shikanemasu.
I cannot answer.
ご希望には添いかねます。
Gokibou ni wa soikanemasu.
I cannot meet your expectations.
残念ながら、ご招待には応じかねます。
Zannen nagara, goshoutai ni wa oujikanemasu.
