Verb stem + 込む💡Usage
Expresses doing something into, filling up, or gradually accumulating. Often implies doing thoroughly or attentively.
📚Examples
引っ越しの準備で、荷物を車にぎっしり積み込んだ。
Hikkoshi no junbi de, nimotsu wo kuruma ni gisshiri tsumikomda.
While preparing to move, I loaded the luggage tightly into the car.
難しい問題について、一人で考え込んでしまった。
Muzukashii mondai ni tsuite, hitori de kangaekomde shimatta.
I ended up deeply absorbed in thinking about the difficult problem alone.
久しぶりに友達と会って、話し込んで時間を忘れた。
Hisashiburi ni tomodachi to atte, hanashikomde jikan wo wasureta.
