Used to add related, incidental information to the previous topic.
📚Examples
明日のパーティーには彼も来ます。ちなみに、奥さんも一緒です。
Ashita no paatii ni wa kare mo kimasu. Chinami ni, okusan mo issho desu.
He is coming to the party tomorrow. By the way, his wife is coming too.
この商品は3000円です。ちなみに、税込みです。
Kono shouhin wa sanzen en desu. Chinami ni, zeikomi desu.
This product is 3000 yen. Incidentally, that includes tax.
彼は英語がペラペラです。ちなみに、フランス語も話せます。
Kare wa eigo ga perapera desu. Chinami ni, furansugo mo hanasemasu.
He speaks English fluently. By the way, he can also speak French.
