Used to make a specific judgment based on a certain perspective or standpoint.

現状からいうと、成功は難しい。
Genjou kara iu to, seikou wa muzukashii.
Judging from the current situation, success is difficult.
成績からいうと、彼は合格圏内だ。
Seiseki kara iu to, kare wa goukakukennai da.
