Plain Form + に相違ない💡Usage
Used in written language to express strong certainty. (Formal version of "ni chigainai").
📚Examples
犯人は彼に相違ない。
Hannin wa kare ni souinai.
There is no doubt he is the culprit.
これは本物に相違ない。
Kore wa honmono ni souinai.
This must be the real thing.
彼が成功したのは努力の結果に相違ない。
Kare ga seikou shita no wa doryoku no kekka ni souinai.
No doubt his success is the result of effort.
あの足音は父に相違ない。
Ano ashioto wa chichi ni souinai.
