Used to add another fact (usually positive-positive or negative-negative). Often used in conversation.

昨日は雨で、おまけに風も強かった。
Kinou wa ame de, omake ni kaze mo tsuyokatta.
Yesterday was rainy, and to make matters worse, the wind was strong.
道に迷って、おまけに雨に降られた。
Michi ni mayotte, omake ni ame ni furareta.
I got lost, and to top it off, I got rained on.
彼はハンサムで、おまけに金持ちだ。
Kare wa hansamu de, omake ni kanemochi da.
He is handsome, and on top of that, he is rich.
