N + の折(に)(は) / V-ru/V-ta + 折(に)(は)💡Usage
Used in formal contexts. Refers to a good opportunity or specific time to do something.
📚Examples
来日の折には、ぜひお立ち寄りください。
Rainichi no ori ni wa, zehi otachiyori kudasai.
Please drop by when you come to Japan.
帰国の折には、ご連絡いたします。
Kikoku no ori ni wa, gorenraku itashimasu.
I will contact you when I return to my country.
お近くにお越しの折には、お立ち寄りください。
Ochikaku ni okoshi no ori ni wa, otachiyori kudasai.
