ろくに + V-nai💡Usage
Expresses that something is not done to a sufficient or normal degree.
📚Examples
最近忙しくて、ろくに寝ていない。
Saikin isogashikute, roku ni nete inai.
I've been so busy lately that I haven't slept properly.
彼はろくに挨拶もできない。
Kare wa roku ni aisatsu mo dekinai.
He can't even greet people properly.
給料が安くて、ろくに食べることもできない。
Kyuuryou ga yasukute, roku ni taberu koto mo dekinai.
My salary is so low I can't even eat properly.
説明書をろくに読まずに使い始めた。
Setsumeisho wo roku ni yomazu ni tsukaihajimeta.
I started using it without reading the manual properly.
