Noun/Verb/Adj + くらい (ぐらい)💡Usage
Expresses degree, approximate quantity, or comparison. Can use "ぐらい" (gurai) as alternative.
📚Examples
駅から会社まで歩いて一時間くらいかかる。
Eki kara kaisha made aruite ichijikan kurai kakaru.
It takes about one hour to walk from the station to the company.
昨日は会議が続いて、死ぬくらい疲れた。
Kinou wa kaigi ga tsuzuite, shinu kurai tsukareta.
Yesterday meetings continued one after another, and I was tired to the point of dying.
この料理はこれくらいの辛さならちょうど大丈夫だ。
Kono ryouri wa kore kurai no karasa nara choudo daijoubu da.
This dish is just fine if it is about this level of spiciness.
