Expresses intentional action. "On purpose...", "Intentionally...".

子供は母親の注意を引くために、わざとおもちゃを床に落として泣き真似をした。
Kodomo wa hahaoya no chuui wo hiku tame ni, wazato omocha wo yuka ni otoshite nakimane wo shita.
The child intentionally dropped a toy on the floor and pretended to cry to attract his mother's attention.
サッカーの試合で相手チームの選手がわざとぶつかってきたのに、審判は気づかなかった。
