💡 Usage

Describes the current state as the result of an intentional action someone performed previously. The subject is the object receiving the action. Used with transitive verbs.

📚 Examples

かべ地図ちずがはってあります。

Kabe ni chizu ga hatte arimasu.

A map is pasted on the wall (someone pasted it).

テーブルのうえ花瓶かびんがおいてあります。

Teeburu no ue ni kabin ga oite arimasu.

A vase is placed on the table.

カレンダーに今月こんげつ予定よていいてあります。

Karendaa ni kongetsu no yotei ga kaite arimasu.

This month's schedule is written on the calendar.

部屋へやかぎがかけてあります。

Heya ni kagi ga kakete arimasu.

The door of the room has been fully locked.
