Used to describe an action performed exactly according to the order, state, or will of another entity without any changes.
📚Examples
足の向くままに歩く。
Ashi no muku mama ni aruku.
Walk as my feet lead me.
言われるままに契約書にサインしてしまった。
Iwareru mama ni keiyakusho ni sain shite shimatta.
I signed the contract exactly as I was told.
筆の向くままに文章を綴る。
Fude no muku mama ni bunshou wo tsuzuru.
Write sentences as the pen leads (freely).
思いのままに人生を歩みたい。
