Số từ + たりとも💡Usage
Used with the smallest units of quantity (1 second, 1 yen, 1 person...) to emphasize that even that small amount is not allowed or present.
📚Examples
一刻たりとも無駄にはできない。
Ikkoku tari tomo muda ni wa dekinai.
We cannot waste even a single moment.
一円たりとも負けてはくれない。
Ichien tari tomo makete wa kurenai.
They won't discount even a single yen.
一滴たりとも酒は飲めない。
Itteki tari tomo sake wa nomenai.
