53. とあれば : If it is for... / If it is the case that....

N / V-plain + とあれば💡Usage
Used to say "if it is for a specific purpose or situation," then a corresponding action will be taken (often willingly doing something difficult).
📚Examples
子供のためとあれば、親はどんな苦労もいとわない。
Kodomo no tame to areba, oya wa donna kurou mo itowanai.
If it is for their children, parents will spare no effort.
社長の命令とあれば、断るわけにはいかない。
Shachou no meirei to areba, kotowaru wake ni wa ikanai.
If it is an order from the president, I cannot refuse.
安くて良い品とあれば、客は遠くからでもやってくる。
Yasukute yoi shina to areba, kyaku wa tooku kara demo yatte kuru.
If the products are cheap and good, customers will come even from afar.
緊急の事態とあれば、休暇を返上して出勤する。
