N + どころではない / V-ru + どころではない💡Usage
Used to say that someone is in a situation where they cannot afford to or items are not in a position to do something because of a more pressing matter.

仕事が忙しくて、旅行どころではない。
Shigoto ga isogashikute, ryokou dokoro dewa nai.
I'm so busy with work that a trip is out of the question.
風邪がひどくて、勉強どころではない。
Kaze ga hidokute, benkyou dokoro dewa nai.
I have a terrible cold, so studying is out of the question.
借金が多くて、結婚どころではない。
Shakkin ga ookute, kekkon dokoro dewa nai.
I have so much debt that marriage is out of the question.
そんなのんきなことを言っているどころではない。
Sonna nonki na koto wo itte iru dokoro dewa nai.
This is not the time to be saying such carefree things.
