70. ようがない : There is no way to... / It is impossible to....

V-masu + ようがない💡Usage
Used to express a deadlock situation where there are absolutely no means or ways to perform the action.
📚Examples
あんなに壊れていては、もう直しようがない。
Anna ni kowarete ite wa, mou naoshi you ga nai.
Since it's broken that badly, there is no way to fix it anymore.
連絡先がわからないので、連絡のしようがない。
Renrakusaki ga wakaranai node, renraku no shi you ga nai.
Since I don't know the contact information, there is no way to get in touch.
これ以上、何と言って説明すればいいのか、言いようがない。
Kore ijou, nan to itte setsumei sureba ii no ka, ii you ga nai.
I have no words to explain this any further.
昨日の台風の被害は、見るも無惨で例えようがない。
Kinou no taifuu no higai wa, miru mo muzan de tatoe you ga nai.
The damage from yesterday's typhoon was so horrific I cannot compare it to anything.
