Used to judge from a certain standpoint or piece of evidence.

口ぶりからすると、彼は知っているようだ。
Kuchiburi kara suru to, kare wa shitte iru you da.
Judging from his tone, he seems to know.
親からすると、子供の将来が心配だ。
Oya kara suru to, kodomo no shourai ga shinpai da.
From a parent's perspective, they worry about their child's future.
この状況からすると、延期は避けられない。
Kono joukyou kara suru to, enki wa sakerarenai.
Judging from this situation, postponement is unavoidable.
彼の実力からすると、優勝できるはずだ。
Kare no jitsuryoku kara suru to, yuushou dekiru hazu da.
