Plain Form + に決まっている💡Usage
Used to emphasize the speaker's subjective certainty.
📚Examples
彼が犯人に決まっている。
Kare ga hannin ni kimatte iru.
He must be the culprit.
そんなの、嘘に決まっているよ。
Sonna no, uso ni kimatte iru yo.
That must be a lie.
行けば楽しいに決まっている。
Ikeba tanoshii ni kimatte iru.
If we go, it's bound to be fun.
失敗するに決まっているから、やめたほうがいい。
Shippai suru ni kimatte iru kara, yameta hou ga ii.
It's bound to fail, so you should stop.
あの店は高いに決まっている。
Ano mise wa takai ni kimatte iru.
