💡Usage

Used when something you just heard or saw reminds you of something related.

そういえば、彼は昨日休んでいたね。

Souieba, kare wa kinou yasunde ita ne.

Now that you mention it, he was away yesterday.

「カレー食べたい。」「そういえば、駅前に新しい店ができたよ。」

Karee tabetai. - Souieba, ekimae ni atarashii mise ga dekita yo.

"I want to eat curry." "Speaking of which, a new shop opened in front of the station."
