Verb-te + くれと言う / Verb-te + くれと頼む💡Usage
Used to convey someone else's request or favor. "A told me to do something".
📚Examples
母が夜遅くなるから早く帰ってくれと何度も言っていた。
Haha ga yoru osoku naru kara hayaku kaette kure to nando mo itte ita.
My mother kept telling me to come home early because it would get late at night.
授業中に先生が生徒に静かにしてくれと何度も注意した。
Jugyouchuu ni sensei ga seito ni shizuka ni shite kure to nando mo chuui shita.
During class the teacher warned the students many times to be quiet.
引っ越しで荷物が多くて、友人に手伝ってくれと頼んだ。
Hikkoshi de nimotsu ga ookute, yuujin ni tetsudatte kure to tanonda.
Since there was so much luggage for the move, I asked my friend to help me.
