Expresses the target of action or attitude. "Towards...", "Regarding...". Formal.
📚Examples
目上の人に対しては、敬語を使って丁寧に話さなければならない。
Meue no hito ni taishite wa, keigo wo tsukatte teinei ni hanasanakereba naranai.
Towards superiors, you must use honorifics and speak politely.
彼の意見に対して、多くの人が強く反対の声を上げた。
Kare no iken ni taishite, ooku no hito ga tsuyoku hantai no koe wo ageta.
Against his opinion, many people raised their voices in strong opposition.
最近の若者は、政治に対する関心が低いと言われている。
