Expresses a wish or hope. "I hope...", "I wish...".
📚Examples
明日の旅行、どうか雨が降らないで、お天気が良くなるといいなあ。
Ashita no ryokou, douka ame ga furanaide, otenki ga yoku naru to ii naa.
I hope it won't rain and the weather will be nice and sunny for tomorrow's trip.
一生懸命勉強したから、今回のN2の試験に合格できるといいなあと思っています。
