Verb (te-form minus te) + とく💡Usage
Do something in advance for preparation. "Do ahead...", "Keep...".

明日は友達が遊びに来るので、今のうちに部屋を綺麗に掃除しとくよ。
Ashita wa tomodachi ga asobi ni kuru node, ima no uchi ni heya wo kirei ni souji shitoku yo.
My friend is coming to play tomorrow, so I'll clean the room beautifully while I can.
この資料は明日の会議で使うから、人数分だけコピーしといてください。
Kono shiryou wa ashita no kaigi de tsukau kara, ninzuubun dake kopii shitoite kudasai.
We'll use this document at tomorrow's meeting, so please make copies for the number of people.
旅行に行く前に、ホテルの場所や行き方をインターネットで調べとくつもりだ。
Ryokou ni iku mae ni, hoteru no basho ya ikikata wo intaanetto de shirabetoku tsumori da.
Before going on a trip, I intend to check the location and how to get to the hotel on the internet in advance.
