Sentence (plain form) + わけではない💡Usage
Expresses that something is not entirely as one might think. "It doesn't mean that...", "Not necessarily...", "It's not that...".

甘いものが嫌いなわけではないが、今はダイエット中なので控えているだけだ。
Amai mono ga kirai na wake dewa nai ga, ima wa daiettochuu na node hikaete iru dake da.
It's not that I hate sweet things, but I'm just holding back now because I'm on a diet.
