V-ba + こそ / N + であれば + こそ💡Usage
Used to emphasize a reason, often one that might be counter-intuitive or indirect, as the primary cause.
📚Examples
愛していればこそ、厳しく叱るのです。
Aishite ireba koso, kibishiku shikaru no desu.
I scold you strictly precisely because I love you.
体があればこそ、仕事もできる。
Karada ga areba koso, shigoto mo dekiru.
It is precisely because I have health that I can work.
子供が可愛ければこそ、自立を促すべきだ。
