6. だの〜だの : Such things as... and....

N / V / Adj + だの + N / V / Adj + だの💡Usage
Used to list things or actions, often with a nuance of complaining, being fed up, or criticizing. More negative than "yara~yara".
📚Examples
彼は給料が安いだの、休みが少ないだの、不満ばかり言っている。
Kare wa kyuuryou ga yasui dano, yasumi ga sukunai dano, fuman bakari itte iru.
He is always complaining about things like his low salary and few holidays.
母に勉強しろだの、早く寝ろだのと口うるさく言われた。
Haha ni benkyou shiro dano, hayaku nero dano to kuchiurusaku iwareta.
My mother nagged me about things like studying and going to bed early.
部屋が狭いだの、日当たりが悪いだのと文句を言う。
Heya ga semai dano, hiatari ga warui dano to monku wo iu.
He complains about things like the room being small and having poor sunlight.
好きだの嫌いだのと言っている場合ではない。
Suki dano kirai dano to itte iru baai de wa nai.
This is not the time to be saying things like you like it or hate it.
あれが食べたいだの、これが欲しいだのとわがままを言う。
Are ga tabetai dano, kore ga hoshii dano to wagamama wo iu.
The child selfishly says things like they want to eat that and want this.
仕事が忙しすぎるだの、上司が厳しいだのと愚痴をこぼす。
Shigoto ga isogashisugiru dano, joushi ga kibishii dano to guchi wo kobosu.
He grumbles about things like being too busy and having a strict boss.
雨だの風だのと言って、外出を嫌がる。
Ame dano kaze dano to itte, gaishutsu wo iyagaru.
He complains about the rain and the wind and refuses to go out.
隣の部屋がうそ五井だの、掃除が足りないだのと騒ぐ。
Tonari no heya ga uzai dano, souji ga tarinai dano to sawagu.
He makes a fuss about things like the next room being noisy and the cleaning being insufficient.
あいつが悪いだの、運がなかっただのと、言い訳ばかりだ。
Aitsu ga warui dano, un ga nakatta dano to, iiwake bakari da.
He just makes excuses like it's that guy's fault or he was unlucky.
要るだの要らないだのと、はっきりしない。
Iru dano iranai dano to, hakkiri shinai.
He's unclear, saying things like he needs it and then he doesn't.
