V-ru + が早いか💡Usage
Used to describe an action that happens almost simultaneously after another action. Often used for surprising events or extremely fast actions.
📚Examples
終業のチャイムが鳴るが早いか、彼は教室を飛び出した。
Shuugyou no chaimu ga naru ga hayaika, kare wa kyoushitsu wo tobidashita.
As soon as the bell rang, he rushed out of the classroom.
デパートのドアが開くが早いか、客がなだれ込んだ。
Depaato no doa ga aku ga hayaika, kyaku ga nadarekonda.
As soon as the department store doors opened, customers flooded in.
彼は私を見るが早いか、逃げて行った。
