Used to express a general level or to indicate that a quantity or state is not very high, only reaching that point.
📚Examples
あと1、2キロというところだ。
Ato ichi ni kiro to iu tokoro da.
It's about another 1 or 2 kilometers.
合格率は、だいたい30%というところだ。
Goukakuritsu wa, daitai sanjuu paasento to iu tokoro da.
