Used to emphasize that an action or state covers everything, without excluding anything.
📚Examples
部屋という部屋を捜したが、鍵は見つからなかった。
Heya to iu heya wo sagashita ga, kagi wa mitsukaranakatta.
I searched every single room, but couldn't find the keys.
壁という壁にポスターが貼ってある。
Kabe to iu kabe ni posutaa ga hatte aru.
There are posters pasted on every single wall.
今日という今日は、絶対に許さない。
