ありがとうございます。でも、試験に合格したとはいえ、まだまだ実際の会話には自信がないんです。

Thank you. But even though I passed the exam, I still don't have confidence in actual conversation.

主に教科書で単語や文法を覚えたりしていましたが、最近はリスニング力を養うがてらニュースを聞くようにしています。

I mainly memorized vocabulary and grammar using textbooks, but recently I've been trying to listen to the news to develop my listening skills as well.

ニュースですか。内容いかんでは、かなり難しい単語も出てくるんじゃないですか。

最初はそう思いましたが、毎日聞いているうちに、少しずつ特有の表現が身についてくるものですよ。

I thought so at first, but while listening every day, unique expressions gradually become second nature.

それから、発音の練習には「シャドーイング」もおすすめですよ。聞こえた通りにすぐ口に出して真似するんです。

Also, for pronunciation practice, I recommend "shadowing". You speak out what you heard immediately to imitate it.
