V-plain + ようでは / Adj + ようでは💡Usage
Used to express a negative condition, suggesting that if a certain state continues, a bad result will follow.
📚Examples
こんな簡単な問題が解けないようでは、合格は無理だ。
Konna kantan na mondai ga tokenai you dewa, goukaku wa muri da.
If you can't solve such a simple problem, passing is impossible.
時間を守れないようでは、社会人として失格だ。
Jikan wo mamorenai you dewa, shakaijin to shite shikkaku da.
If you can't keep time, you are disqualified as a member of society.
そんなことで泣いているようでは、これからの苦労には耐えられない。
Sonna koto de naite iru you dewa, kore kara no kurou ni wa taerarenai.
If you are crying over such things, you won't be able to withstand future hardships.
