Yamada-san, why did you decide to become an engineer?
高校生の時にプログラミングに触れたのをきっかけに、ものづくりの楽しさに目覚めたんです。
Triggered by being exposed to programming in high school, I awakened to the joy of making things.
なるほど。きっかけは教育だったんですね。

ええ。大学ではITを専攻しましたが、勉強が進むにつれて、理論より実践の方が面白いと感じるようになりました。
Yes. I majored in IT at university, but as my studies progressed, I began to feel that practice was more interesting than theory.
実践は大切ですよね。一方で、最新の技術を追いかけ続けるのは大変じゃないですか。
Practice is important. On the other hand, isn't it tough to keep chasing the latest technology?
確かに、技術の進歩は速いですからね。でも、新しいことを学ぶたびに、自分の世界が広がる気がしてワクワクするんです。
Certainly, technological progress is fast. However, every time I learn something new, I feel excited as if my world is expanding.
