Thank you for coming today. First, please give a brief self-introduction.
はい。グエン・ヴァン・アンと申します。ベトナムの大学でITを専攻し、卒業後は現地のソフトウェア開発会社で3年間エンジニアとして勤務していました。
Yes. My name is Nguyen Van An. I majored in IT at a university in Vietnam, and after graduation, I worked as an engineer at a local software development company for three years.
なるほど。弊社を志望された理由は何でしょうか。
I see. What is your reason for applying to our company?
御社はAI技術を活用した新しいシステム開発に取り組まれており、その技術力と将来性に非常に魅力を感じました。私のこれまでの経験を活かし、是非御社に貢献したいと考えております。
Your company is working on new system developments utilizing AI technology, and I was very attracted to that technical capability and its future potential. I would like to use my experience thus far to contribute to your company.
日本語の能力についてもお伺いしたいのですが。
I’d also like to ask about your Japanese language ability.
現在JLPTのN2を取得しており、ビジネスレベルでの会話が可能です。また、日本文化にも深い関心を持っており、チーム内での日本語によるコミュニケーションを大切にしています。
I currently possess JLPT N2 and am capable of conversing at a business level. I also have a deep interest in Japanese culture and place high importance on communication in Japanese within a team.
なるほど、それは心強いですね。ちなみに、以前の会社ではどのようなプロジェクトを担当していましたか。
I see, that is very reassuring. By the way, what kind of projects were you in charge of at your previous company?
主にスマートフォンのアプリ開発を担当していました。特に、外国人向けの旅行案内アプリの開発では、チームリーダーを務めました。
I was mainly in charge of developing smartphone apps. In particular, I acted as a team leader in developing a travel guide app for foreigners.
リーダーの経験があるんですね。チームをまとめる上で、一番苦労したことは何ですか。
You have experience as a leader, I see. What was the most difficult thing in bringing the team together?
メンバーそれぞれの意見が違う時に、それを一つにまとめることでした。でも、お互いによく話し合うことで、より良いアイデアが生まれることを学びました。
Unifying everything into one when each member had different opinions. However, I learned that by discussing things thoroughly with each other, better ideas are born.
最後に、ご自身の強みと弱みを教えてください。
Finally, please tell us about your strengths and weaknesses.
私の強みは、どんなに困難な課題でも諦めない粘り強さです。一方、弱みは、慎重になりすぎて決断に時間がかかることがある点ですが、今は優先順位をはっきりさせることで改善に努めています。
My strength is my persistence in not giving up no matter how difficult the challenge. On the other hand, my weakness is that I can sometimes be too cautious and take time to make decisions, but I am currently striving to improve this by clarifying priorities.
