去年は海だったので、今年は山の方へ行って温泉を楽しむのはどうでしょう。
Since we went to the sea last year, how about going toward the mountains and enjoying a hot spring this year?
いいですね。箱根や草津なら、都心からも近くてアクセスがいいですよ。
That's a good idea. Hakone or Kusatsu are close to the city center and very accessible.
箱根か、いい案ですね。宿泊先はどうしましょうか。ゆっくりできる場所がいいです。

せっかくですから、料理が有名な老舗の旅館に泊まりたいですね。
Since we're making the effort to go, I'd like to stay at a well-established ryokan famous for its food.

I agree. But if we do that, will the budget fit within 30,000 yen per person? I'm a bit worried.

If we use a group discount, we might be able to manage. There are also plans that get cheaper if we book early.
