Noun + から + Noun + にかけて💡Usage
Expresses a vague time or space range. Different from "から～まで" (clear range).
📚Examples
週間予報によると、今夜から明日にかけて激しい雨が降るでしょう。
Shuukan yohou ni yoru to, konya kara ashita ni kakete hageshii ame ga furu deshou.
According to the weekly forecast, it will likely rain heavily from tonight through tomorrow.
この時期、山沿いの地域では夕方から夜にかけて一気に寒くなる。
Kono jiki, yamazoi no chiiki de wa yuugata kara yoru ni kakete ikki ni samuku naru.
At this time of year, it gets cold all at once from evening through the night in areas along the mountains.
