To give (to a superior) / To give (to an inferior, plant, or animal)
✏️ Structure
- [Tôi] は [Người trên] に N を さしあげます
- [Tôi] は [Người dưới/Động thực vật] に N を やります
💡 Usage
Sashiagemasu: The humble form of 'Agemasu', used when giving to a respected person or superior.
Yarimasu: Used when giving to an inferior, pets, or plants.

Watashi wa sensei ni purezento o sashiagemashita.
I gave a present to the teacher.
