V-masu / Adj / N + ながら💡Usage
Used to express opposition between two states; despite A, the result B is contradictory.
📚Examples
残念ながら、今回は不合格でした。
Zannen nagara, konkai wa fugoukaku deshita.
Regrettably, you failed this time.
子供ながらに、社会の厳しさを知っている。
Kodomo nagara ni, shakai no kibishisa wo shitte iru.
Even as a child, he knows the harshness of society.
分かっていながら、嘘をついてしまった。
Wakatte inagara, uso wo tsuite shimatta.
