Used when an action or reaction occurs immediately after observing something.

彼は相手が弱いと見ると、急に威張り出した。
Kare wa aite ga yowai to miru to, kyuu ni ibaridashita.
As soon as he saw his opponent was weak, he suddenly started acting bossy.
子供たちは、先生がいないと見ると騒ぎ始めた。
