N + も + V/A-ba/nara + N + も💡Usage
Used to list items, similar to "neither... nor..." or "both... and...".
📚Examples
彼は勉強もできればスポーツもできる。
Kare wa benkyou mo dekireba supootsu mo dekiru.
He is good at both studying and sports.
人生には楽しいこともあれば苦しいこともある。
Jinsei ni wa tanoshii koto mo areba kurushii koto mo aru.
In life, there are both fun times and painful times.
行く時間もなければ、お金もない。
Iku jikan mo nakereba, okane mo nai.
I have neither the time nor the money to go.
賛成する人もいれば、反対する人もいる。
Sansei suru hito mo ireba, hantai suru hito mo iru.
There are people who agree, and there are people who disagree.
料理はおいしければ、見た目も美しい。
Ryouri wa oishikereba, mitame mo utsukushii.
The food is both delicious and beautiful.
彼は酒も飲めばタバコも吸う。
Kare wa sake mo nomeba tabako mo suu.
He both drinks alcohol and smokes.
この店は味も良ければ値段も安い。
Kono mise wa aji mo yokereba nedan mo yasui.
This shop has both good taste and cheap prices.
雨も降れば、風も吹く。
Ame mo fureba, kaze mo fuku.
It's raining and the wind is blowing too.
親も親なら、子も子だ。
Oya mo oya nara, ko mo ko da.
Like parent, like child (negative nuance).
泣く子供もいれば、笑う子供もいる。
Naku kodomo mo ireba, warau kodomo mo iru.
There are children crying and children laughing.
