N + ぶり / V-masu + ぶり💡Usage
Used to describe the manner of an action or the state of something. Also used to indicate a time interval before an action is repeated.
📚Examples
彼の仕事ぶりは素晴らしい。
Kare no shigotoburi wa subarashii.
His way of working is wonderful.
10年ぶりに再会した。
Juunen buri ni saikai shita.
We reunited after 10 years.
彼女の食べっぷりは見ていて気持ちがいい。
Kanojo no tabeppuri wa mite ite kimochi ga ii.
Watching her eat is quite pleasant.
久しぶりの休みを満喫した。
Hisashiburi no yasumi wo mankitsu shita.
I fully enjoyed my first holiday in a long while.
彼の話しぶりからすると、何か隠しているようだ。
Kare no hanashiburi kara suru to, nanika kakushite iru you da.
Judging by the way he talks, it seems he is hiding something.
久しぶりに実家に帰った。
Hisashiburi ni jikka ni kaetta.
I returned to my parents' home after a long time.

Gonen buri no ooyuki ni natta.
